'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is currently midway through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial important honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly contemplate lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
